Dr. Harrison has a broad teaching background, having taught eleven different economics courses at three colleges. Courses include Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, Economic History of the U.S., Third World Economics, Free Enterprise Economics, Appraisal of Agricultural Property, Commodity Futures, Agricultural Finance, Agricultural Policy, Agricultural Marketing, and Farm Management.
Dr. Harrison spent 14 years in Washington, D.C. and in Nebraska with the Federal government doing research in economics with emphasis on agriculture. He wrote numerous professional publications (72) including journal articles, bulletins, and speeches. He handled legislative requests and prepared many position statements for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Dr. Harrison was a securities and commodities analyst for three years with two investment firms.
