Welcome.  This page is primarily meant to serve as a resource for my students at California State University, Stanislaus, but all interested parties are welcome.  My primary teaching and research fields are in Renaissance and medieval literature and culture, but you'll get a better sense of my interests and obsessions by browsing this page.   I'm new to CSU, Stanislaus and to California.  Previously, I taught at Angelo State University, a solid university out in the deserts of West Texas.  But I was drawn to America's most alluring state, and so I ply my trade here.  Feel free to contact me with comments and questions.   After you finish exploring, you can click here to return to the English Department homepage.
