Students with a physical or mental impairment that limits one or more of the major life activities should register with the office of Disability Resource Services once they have been accepted to the University.  A Professional Certification is required from a qualified physician.  Once the appropriate certification is received the individual must meet with the appropriate advisor to qualify for reasonable accommodations.

Due to budget reductions, DRS no longer provides screening or diagnostic services for learning disabilities. Students suspecting a possible learning disability should contact a community cliniciansNew Browser or website icon for assessment. Once testing is completed, students should forward a copy of the diagnostic report to Disability Resource Services.

The Disability Resource Services office at California State University, Stanislaus reserves the right to make final determination concerning eligibility and provision of services.  If you have any questions, please contact our office at (209) 667-3159.
