For qualified students seeking a specialized project. Prerequisites: Consent of instructor and graduate adviser.
PHYS 5990 Thesis (1-6 units)
Master’s thesis research.May be repeated for a total of 6 units. Prerequisites: Classified graduate standing and consent of graduate committee.
PHYS 6100 Teaching Kinematics in the High School (3 units)
A physics course with a focus on mechanics, providing physics advancement for high schoo lteachers. Course covers developing the curriculum, strategies for teaching in the High School classroom, and assessment. Prerequisites: Appropriate teaching credential and consent of instructor.
