Student Assistant Job Posting Form.pdf

This form is used to list an on-campus job. After completing, send it to the Career Services Center via campus mail, or Fax to 664-7127. This form is also available in the Career Services Center.

This form is completed by the hiring department once a student has been selected for employment.

Instructional Student Assistant Hiring Form
(SES Form 105-Unit11)
This form is completed by the hiring department for students hired as an Instructional Student Assistant (ISA). This form is available in the Career Services Center (MSR-245) only.

Student Assistant Hiring Form.pdf
(SES Form 105-REHIRE)

This form is completed by the hiring department for students who meet the following conditions for rehiring: (1) the job has not changed from the original posting (last academic year), (2) the student being hired must have worked during the previous academic year and not have had any breaks in employment since being hired, (3) the hiring department has verified student enrollment status. If these conditions are met, Form 105-REHIRE is to be completed and delivered to the Career Services Center to verify that the job was posted the past academic year. Form 105-REHIRE is available on the Student Employment Services page of the Career Services Center website, or in the Career Services Center. Note: Students hired under Unit 11 may not be rehired using this form. Steps 1 – 7 of the Student Employment Services Checklist are to be followed.

Students enrolled in Extended Education courses only do not qualify for student employment under these procedures and departments are encouraged to consult with the Human Resources office prior to initiating hiring.

This form identifies withholding allowance information. It is to be completed by students who are selected for employment. The hiring area provides this form to students and the student delivers to the Payroll office.

Statement Concerning Your Employment in a Job not Covered by Social Security can be found on the Payroll website by clicking here.
The Social Security Protection Act of 2004 requires the California State University to have students who are offered employment to read and complete this form.

Student Assistant Transaction Form
(BM Form 117) can be found on the Payroll website by clicking here.
Use this form to reclassify a student, initiate a merit salary adjustment, and/or to request that a student work in excess of 20 hours per week.
