the Arts Vision
A collaboration of the Departments of Art, Music and Theatre to develop a shared vision for curricular and programmatic goals that will help us:
- Recruit and retain talented students and faculty
- Heighten marketing and development efforts
- Foster partnerships with other educational and artistic organizations
- Serve as a center for cultural and artistic activity for the region
- To develop artistic talent and build foundations of knowledge regarding the arts
- To develop citizens committed to social responsibility who understand and advocate the role of the artist in society
- To meet the diverse needs of students who wish to incorporate the arts into their professional and personal goals; and
- To develop and integrate interdisciplinary programs and modes of learning.
