College of Human & Health Sciences

Make a gift and Make a DIFFERENCE!

Our College of Human and Health Sciences (CHHS) benefits from generous gifts and donations from alumni, community partners, and both profit and non-profit organizations. With those gifts, we try to make a difference that improves student learning outcomes, faculty development and research opportunities, and enhancements to our physical facilities that enable teaching and learning. We are eager to work with you to find places where your contribution might leverage something of high value to you, while also benefiting a need in our college. And we want to strive for partnerships where the value and exchange is mutually beneficial and bi-directional. Here is a short list of ongoing identified CHHS needs; please contact us if you would like a more specific and complete list, or if you have ideas and interests that are not on our list.

For example, Dr. Dempsey is an Associate Professor in Psychology with expertise in Behavioral Analysis working with clients who have especially difficult behavioral disorders. CHHS has 4 clinic rooms on campus but equipment is needed (at an estimated cost of $10-12,000.00) to make the rooms fully functional as a behavioral clinic while also serving as a student learning environment. Equipment needed is a combination of technology, office supplies, teaching materials, and sound/video equipment for the observations rooms. If you might be interested in helping Dr. Dempsey fund the startup of this clinic, please contact us at chhs@csustan.edu
