Course Name & Description |
- Edit the Course Name and add a Description
- The Subject Area and Discipline are no longer functional items
|
|
|
Course Availability |
Courses are created as Unavailable so you can add, copy, or update your content before your students see the course.
Set the course to Available for students to see and enter, go the the course Control Panel and click
- Settings
- Course Availability
- The Yes button
- The Submit button
Please set all your courses to Unavailable at the end of the term. |

Guest Access |
Courses are created with No Guest Access. In the Guest Access area, click
- Settings
- Guest Access
- Yes
- Submit
to allow guests to see your course content

|
Course Duration |
Courses are created with Continuous duration. Courses are created with a Continuous duration.
In Course Duration, marking Select Dates, checking the Start Date and End Date boxes, and setting the dates will make the course available during that time span.
Avoid using the Days form the date of enrollment item

Enrollment Options |
|
Courses are set for Instructor/System Administrator roster additions
Avoid using the Allow students to email enrollment requests to the instructor - daily updates will add new students to your Bb class roster.
The Self Enrollment feature may work for some courses, but should not be necessary |
| Categorize Course |
- Select a Category to list your course in the Course Catalog on the Courses page
- Click the Add button, the click OK to return to the Settings menu
Click the Remove button and OK to remove the Course Catalog listing |

Course Entry Point |
The default entry is the Announcements page.
Use the pop-up menu to select an alternate entry page.
Click the Submit button to set that selection.

Observer Access |

We do not have observer access at CSU Stanislaus |

Set Language Pack |
|
The System Default language is English (United States).
Also Available: Spanish (Español - Españia) and Portuguese (Português - Brasil)
Clicking the Enforce Language Pack button will keep the course settings in that language - students will not be allowed to change their language. |
