107: <p>Village staff provides monthly cleaning of suite and apartment bathrooms and apartment kitchen floors. Rooms must a general state of cleanliness with items picked up off the floor and cleared from the counters on the day of cleaning. Daily cleaning is the responsibility of the resident. Rooms which are excessively dirty will not receive a courtesy clean and eventually may be assessed a cleaning charge in the event the room must be cleaned by housing staff to maintain health and safety standards. Notices of courtesy cleaning schedules are provided in advance.</p>

119: <p>The main laundry facility is located in the Community Center. Six other laundry facilities are located throughout Phase III. Each facility uses laundry debit cards, which can be purchased and/or reloaded using the “Electronic Laundry Room” machine located in the lobby of the Community Center. The machine accepts $1, $5, $10, and $20 bills. Machines which accept ATM/Credit Cards are located inside the Community Center, as well as the laundry room located on the 1st floor of the Phase III north building. Washing and drying one load of laundry costs approximately $2.00. </p>

To secure personal property, residents are urged to keep bedroom, suite, and apartment doors locked at all times.</p>

145: <p>The Village is a gated and secure community. Resident Advisors and University Police Officers conduct rounds throughout the evening. Residents must assist in maintaining Village safety by ensuring the gates are closed and secure when entering and exiting the Village complex.</p>
146: <p>Blue safety lights are located throughout the Village complex. These phones connect directly to 9-1-1 in case of an emergency. A Resident Advisor or Village employee is available 24/7 and can be reached at (209) 667-3675.</p>
147: <p>The campus Escort Program runs M-F from 6:00p.m.-11:00p.m. Residents can use this program to shuttle back to the Village after an evening class. Shuttles adhere to an established campus route and stop before most buildings and designated red shuttle stops.</p>

150: <p>There is a 9-1-1 emergency line in the living room of each unit. This line is accessible to all residents of that unit. The only external call which can be made from this line is 9-1-1. Although the line cannot receive or dial other external phone numbers it is capable of dialing on-campus 4-digit extensions (such as academic departments, the Housing Office, the Health Center, Admissions & Records, etc.)</p>
151: <p>Each individual bedroom is equipped with a phone line which can be activated by contacting Campus Telephone Services at (209) 667-3719. The basic line cost is $17.50/month with long distance at $.05/minute after 5p.m. and $.10/minute between 8a.m.-5p.m.</p>

153: <p>Housing fees for the academic year contract do not cover the periods when the University is not in session.
