  90: The online housing application is available for students to complete starting on Wednesday, April 1, 2008. Room placements, as well as roommate requests are based on date of deposit, so the sooner your child&rsquo;s fully completed application is receiving and processed the better. Prior to beginning the online application, it&rsquo;s good to know a little bit about how the process works. 
  91: <p>To complete the application your child will need to have a couple of things handy as he or she goes through the process. These include:</p>

  93:   <li>Campus Email Address and Password &ndash; This will be used to log onto the online application portal. <em>Don&rsquo;t know it? Your child can access <a href="http://www.csustan.edu/currentstudents/">http://www.csustan.edu/currentstudents/</a> to find out his or her email address.</em></li>
  94:   <li>Debit card/credit card &ndash; This will be used to pay the $340 deposit at the end of the application process.</li>
  95:   <li>Roommate Add &ndash; If your child plans to ask for a specific person(s) for a roommate he or she will need to know that person(s) first and last name, as well as their date of birth (DD/MM/YYYY). We can&rsquo;t guarantee that your child will be placed with the person, but providing ALL the requested information definitely helps. </li>

  97:   <li>Financial Guarantor/Co-Signer - If your child is under twenty four years old (24) he or she is required to have a financial guarantor/co-signer. This person will share equal financial responsibility for the cost of student housing. The online housing application process includes a section where your child will provide basic contact information for his or her co-signer. </li>

In fact, your child will be able interrupt the process at anytime, say for dinner, and then check back in a couple of hours later to complete his or her application.</p>
