  91: <strong>International students do not use on the online application process available through the housing website. </strong>This is because an individual must be admitted to the University in order to access the online housing application. We have found in some instances that admission timing impacts an international student&rsquo;s ability to confirm campus housing. As a result we have developed a special application process solely for international students. This process mimics the online application, but uses a paper format.

 110:     <strong>Roommate Requests: </strong>Housing and Residential Life places people together according to mutual roommate requests. We do not as a practice segregate our international students<strong> </strong>and house them all together. Instead, we try to place international students within our general resident population.</p>
 111: <p>If you are requesting a specific roommate make sure that your request is mutual; meaning you both must put each others names on your license agreements.</p>

 113:   <li>Submit your license agreements in a similar timeframe. If you submit yours weeks ahead of the other person it is likely that you will have already been placed in another room, but if you both turn them on the same day you increase your chance of being placed together.</li>

 116: <p><strong>Early Check-In:</strong> If you will be arriving before Move-In Day (August 29th) and would like to request authorization for early check-in you will need to complete and submit a <a href="pdfs/08.Early_Check.In.Request.pdf">Request for Early Check-In Form</a>. International students may start checking in at 4:00p.m. on Sunday, August 24th. Check-In prior to this date will have an associated nightly charge. Note: International Student Orientation is on Wednesday, August 27th.</p>
 117: <p><strong>August Housing Payment:</strong> Your first housing payment is due August 1 and is considered late if not received by August 10th. This payment is separate from your $340 deposit. </p>
