 169: <p>Yes, we offer single-room occupancy suites and apartments for freshman.  These are four-bedroom units, where each occupant has his or her own bedroom, but share a common bathroom, living room and kitchen (if applicable).</p>

 173: <p>Yes, meal plans are mandatory for both freshman and upperclass residents.  Annual meal plans are allocated by term through a declining balance dollar-to-dollar program.  Meal plan funds roll between terms, but not between academic years.</p>

 178: <p>Yes, the online application has a feature called &ldquo;Roommate Add&rdquo; where you can request up to three (3) specific roommates.  In order to submit your request(s) you will need to have the person&rsquo;s first and last name, as well as their date of birth.  Due to privacy requirements Housing and Residential Life cannot provide this information to residents, so you will need to obtain it directly from the person.</p>
 179: <p>When requesting a specific roommate it is important to have all parties submit their applications within a similar timeframe.  Room placements are done by date of deposit.  Turning applications in around the same time will help increase the likelihood that your request will be successful.  Only mutual requests will be honored.</p>

The freshman housing community is &ldquo;dry&rdquo; meaning that absolutely no alcohol is permitted within these facilities. </p>
