Recreation & Wellness
The ASI Recreation and Wellness Program at California State University, Stanislaus provides its campus community with opportunities for recreation and promotion of healthy lifestyles. Our purpose is to promote physical fitness, enjoyment of life, self-discovery and self-esteem for people of all cultures, interests, and abilities.
Our programs can improve the quality of life on campus, strengthen ties between and among undergraduates, graduate students, faculty and staff; provide opportunities for participation including; intramural sports, recreational fitness and wellness programs; help reduce stress experienced by those who live, work, and study at California State University, Stanislaus; and improve the health and well-being of the campus community.
This is accomplished through continuing campus collaborations, efficient use of resources, maintaining our high quality staff and developing strong communication links with the university community.

National Condom Day

FREE condoms and lubrication will be available in the Quad at the flag pole. There will also be trivia questions on Safe Sex and the history of Valentine's Day for raffle tickets to win dinner for two at Cool Hand Luke's Restaurant and 2 movie tickets to the Regal Movie Theater. Eating Disorder Awareness Week
February 27th, 2012 thru March 2nd, 2012
Sport your Periwinkle colored awareness ribbon the week of February 27th - March 2nd to support and raise awareness about eating disorders. Pick up your Punch Card from Cashiers in Chartwell's when you purchase anything over $4.00, you will get a punch. On Friday, March 2nd, once you have a total of 5 punches your purchase of $6.00 or less will be FREE.

There will be a Speaker on the causes and effects of Anxiety and Depression within the LGBT community. Tips and methods will be provided for Anxiety and Depression elimination.

First Annual campus and community wide Half Marathon

Join ASI Wellness Programs and the ladies of Phi Sigma Sigma Sorority at our FIRST ANNUAL campus and community wide Half Marathon to raise awareness and money for the National Kidney Foundation. There will be refreshments, information, and T-Shirt giveaways for those who participate. 9am-2pm

Campus Fitness Day (National Bike Month)

Be one of the few lucky students to receive a gift card to Jamba Juice for riding your bike on Campus Fitness Day. Gift Cards will be given away in the late morning/early afternoon. Later on in the evening from 6pm-7:30pm there will be a Personal Trainer provided through InShape coming to our campus to perform an intense fitness program for students to stay fit! There will be learning outcomes that students will be able to take with them to the gym on their own time!
