Program Description

During the academic year, selected LSAMP CORE courses in science and mathematics are supplemented with Academic Enrichment Workshops (AEW). After the sophomore year, students are eligible for paid internships related to their majors. There are both academic year and summer internships. A student can intern with a faculty research project, a government agency, a research laboratory, an industry, or a business.
